Before you buy — this is a self-hosted server
LymeScribe Server runs on your own hardware and expects some setup. Plan for one of these:
Windows: an NVIDIA GPU with WSL2 and CUDA for real-time speed (it falls back to CPU, slower). Apple Silicon Mac: an M-series machine with 16 GB or more of memory.
Either platform needs its ML tooling installed and a free, gated HuggingFace token (for the pyannote speaker-labeling models — you accept their license once). It is not a one-click install.
